Hope for the Journey |
For many people, there comes time when life gets difficult, stressful or painful, and it is not uncommon for depression to hit. Depression is not an indication of weakness or being problem-prone. Statistics tell us that 20-25 percent of people will experience strong bouts of depression in their lifetime. When this happens, support is needed.
At "Hope for the Journey" we offer a safe place where women of all ages who need the support of others who understand what they are experiencing. Our group is facilitated by women who have first hand experience of depression. We offer a place to share personally and explore factors that contribute to depression and ways to work through areas such as grief, anger, feelings of inadequacy, control abuse, personality styles, and medical needs.
For more info on Hope for the Journey please contact the church office and mention you would be interested in joining this group.
